Tiny Precious Pearls

Debbie and I became adventurous in our tiny kitchen in Beijing. We supported the growth of Water Kefir – one of Mother Nature’s finest foods. The experience proved ridiculously funny at times.  We became obsessed with the tiny bubbles. Days consisted of feeding the miraculous pearls. Observing their growth spurts. Being concerned that they may just outgrow the fridge …

So determined were we to combat the toxins we breathed in each day. The toxins that were Beijing’s air …

Dancing lightly through glorious liquid

Forming and growing in splendid motion

Ethereal

Simple and pure

Wafting through sun-touched grace

Prancing in heavenly halos

Golden rims of natural light

Life force in motion

Powerful elements captured in glass

On endless silent voyage

Creating uncontaminated natural energy

The wonder of life

Bubbling and frothing with excitement

Bouncing up and sinking down

Energizing cells

Awaken to health and vitality

Symbols of purity and wellness

In moments of unfolding truth

Amidst purifiers and toxic mists

Harmonious in essence

Satisfied in their glass home

They ask for little

Content to serve

To provide that which is needed

Glorious beads of rejuvenation

In silence an unnoticed process unfolds

Bearing endless life, zest and new beginnings

Serenity swathing all

Translucent grains enclosing

A multitude of hidden powers

Water Kefir

A wonder of ancient times

Plump, glistening gems fermenting

Quietly creating cultures

Securely encircling goodness

The sacred journey begins

Awaken now little wonders

New life reigns

Fizzy bubbles and exotic forms

Enhance the joy of dance

Celebrate the illusive cycle of life

As it comes and goes

Witness the wonder that is healing

My sincerest appreciation goes to my friend and artist, Ross Harris, for creating exactly what I was trying to portray through my words. You simply got it Ross. Thank you.
